NASP was formed in the back drop of the 2001 Security Industry Act and it's regulatory body the Security Industry Authority, to assist security professionals from the different sectors in order to advise and assist it's members at all levels whether it be finding work, seeking professional advice, or simply obtaining their security licence and supporting that process.

With over half a million UK registered security professionals working across the globe, NASP can offer its members unrivalled benefits that only major organisation can offer; being a licenced member you will have access to all the best job opportunities in the UK and Overseas.

As a member of NASP you will benefit from substantial discounts, from discounts on training courses saving £100's, discounts on specialist equipment suppliers, including items such as stab vests, tactical vests and body armour, discounts at certain retailers and at present we are negotiating discounts with car hire companies, retailers and airlines for even more discounts for our members which we are continually negotiating.

Members will also benefit from job opportunities that would not normally be advertised in the national press. Companies have agreed to use NASP as their vehicle for recruitment, thus giving more benefits to our members.

As the organisation grows so will our influence within the industry. We originally specialised in Close Protection, with a strong membership of over 5000 and have helped already 1000's of men and women secure work in the UK and the more lucrative positions overseas, with some members earning in excess of £100,000 per year, tax free.
